Analisa Pertandingan



 
Pertandingan terbaik pada minggu ini jelas antara Chelsea melawan Arsenal yang berakhir dengan skor 3-5 untuk Arsenal.

Meskipun bermain di kandang Chelsea, Arsenal cenderung tampil agresif meskipun sempat tertinggal dahulu lewat gol F. Lampard di menit 14, Arsenal mampu membalas pada menit 36 melalui Van Persie yang pada pertandingan kali ini mencetak 3 gol. Penghujung babak pertama, J.Terry kembali membobol gawang Arsenal dan menutup babak pertama dengan skor 2-1 untuk Chelsea.

Masuk babak 2, Arsenal kembali tampil agresif, dan hasilnya adalah 2 gol dalam waktu dekat oleh A.Santos menit 49 dan T.Walcott  menit 56. Chelsea sempat membalas melalui gol J.Matta di menit ke 81, namun Arsenal kembali membalas lewat 2 gol RVP menit ke 85' dan 90'. Hasil ini membuat Arsenal naik ke posisi 7.

Chelsea 3-5 Arsenal

Saturday’s lunchtime fixture at Stamford Bridge served up an avalanche of goals with defences left floundering. Robin Van Persie’s hat-trick humbled the hosts and helped him to maximum bonus points (BP) once again. Arsenal’s captain has now leapfrogged the likes of Wayne Rooney and Sergio Aguero to the top of the scoring charts. The Gunners’ other goalscorers picked up 2 BP apiece; Andre Santos won 4 tackles and made 2 clearances in addition to finding the net, while Theo Walcott’s goal was accompanied by 3 dribbles and 5 crosses, as Arsene Wenger’s side won their fourth league match in five.

Everton 0-1 Manchester United

Match-winner Javier Hernandez earned the 3 bonus points (BP) with the only goal of the Goodison Park fixture. The Mexican had a pair of efforts on target as Sir Alex Ferguson’s side bounced back from their home humbling at the hands of Manchester City. Left-back Patrice Evra picked up 2 BP for his assist in Hernandez’s goal - Evra also contributed a block and 2 dribbles to the United cause. David de Gea was awarded a single BP for his role in Manchester United’s clean sheet, with 8 saves to defy the Toffees.


Manchester City 3-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

All three City goalscorers shared the bonus points (BP) allocation. Aleksandar Kolarov celebrated his third start of the season by picking up 3 BP in the Etihad Stadium win; the left-back netted his side’s second with a close-range tap-in and also helped out defensively, winning a tackle and producing 2 interceptions and a clearance. Edin Dzeko’s ninth goal of the season helped the Bosnian to a couple of BP. Adam Johnson, on as a sub midway through the second half, continued his flourishing form by firing home the third, as City maintained their five-point lead at the top of the table.

Norwich City 3-3 Blackburn Rovers

The six-goal thriller at Carrow Road saw David Hoilett lead the way for bonus points (BP). The jet-heeled Canadian grabbed the opener and tormented his hosts with 4 dribbles and 3 crosses. Ten Gameweeks into the season, Hoilett is the top-scoring Fantasy player for Steve Kean’s side by a comfortable margin. Bradley Johnson picked up a couple of BP with a goal, 3 successful tackles and a block amongst his EA SPORTS PPI stats, while Chris Samba received a single BP. The centre-half netted his second goal in three games and produced 3 successful tackles, 6 clearances and 3 interceptions at the heart of the Blackburn Rovers defence.

Stoke City 1-3 Newcastle United

Demba Ba’s devastating hat-trick helped him grab the maximum bonus points (BP) in Monday night’s match at the Britannia. The Newcastle forward put Stoke City to the sword with a display of expert finishing as Tony Pulis’ side tasted defeat at home for the first time this season. Strike partner Leon Best picked up a couple of BP for a pair of assists, while Steven Taylor was awarded a single BP for yet another resolute performance in the heart of the visitors’ back-four, with 2 clearances and a block amongst his EA SPORTS PPI stats. Taylor has now gathered an impressive 9 bonus points this season.

Sunderland 2-2 Aston Villa

An all-action performance from Stiliyan Petrov at the Stadium of Light helped the Bulgarian to the maximum bonus points (BP). The midfielder played a part in both Aston Villa goals, firing home a stunning opener, before assisting the second from a dead ball delivery, headed home by Richard Dunne. Petrov supplemented this with 5 successful tackles and 8 interceptions as Villa were pegged back at the death by the home side. Stephane Sessegnon returned a goal and assist in back-to-back matches to earn a couple of BP, while Seb Larsson picked up a single BP for an impressive all-round display – the Swede grabbed his fourth assist of the season, with 3 successful tackles, 4 interceptions and 3 crosses amongst his EA SPORTS PPI haul.

Swansea City 3-1 Bolton Wanderers

It’s no surprise to see a clean sweep from the home side after another dominant display at the Liberty Stadium. Joe Allen continued his eye-catching recent form with a goal, 4 successful tackles and a couple of interceptions, earning the Swansea City midfield maestro maximum bonus points (BP). Allen has now picked up 7 BP in his last four appearances. Mark Gower grabbed 2 BP for a set of EA SPORTS PPI stats that include an assist, 2 successful tackles, 4 interceptions and an impressive 36 completed passes. Scott Sinclair’s third penalty in three successive home games helped the winger to a single BP.

Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Queens Park Rangers

Another week, another three bonus points (BP) for Rafael Van der Vaart. The Dutchman edged out Gareth Bale for the maximum with a brilliant attacking display – he grabbed the home side’s second but was unfortunate to only score once, with 6 shots on target testing Paddy Kenny in the away goal time and again. Gareth Bale’s brace, combined with 2 dribbles and 4 crosses, saw the left-winger fetch 2 BP, while fellow wide man Aaron Lennon was awarded a single point for a pair of assists as Tottenham chalked up their sixth win in seven.

West Bromwich Albion 0-2 Liverpool

Saturday evening’s showdown at the Hawthorns saw Andy Carroll pick up 3 bonus points (BP) for the second away match running. Carroll bagged his side’s second and peppered Ben Foster’s goal with 4 shots on target, as Kenny Dalglish’s side eased to victory. Daniel Agger’s first start since Gameweek five helped Liverpool to a clean sheet and earned the big Dane a couple of BP; his EA SPORTS PPI stats show 4 tackles won, with 3 clearances, 8 interceptions and 3 crucial blocks to keep the Baggies efforts at bay. The single BP went to Jose Enrique for a similarly defiant display – the left-back won 2 tackles and made 9 interceptions, while, going forward, the Spaniard produced 5 crosses, 2 dribbles and fired a shot on target.

Wigan Athletic 0-2 Fulham

Fulham’s first away win of the season heaped further misery on their hosts, with the DW Stadium defeat the seventh straight loss for Roberto Martinez’s side. The maximum bonus points (BP) were snapped up by Clint Dempsey, with a goal and 4 interceptions amongst the American’s EA SPORTS PPI stats. Moussa Dembele, scorer of the away side’s second, was awarded 2 BP, with 3 dribbles, 5 interceptions and 3 successful tackles also part of his contribution. Steve Sidwell collected a single BP for a resilient performance in the Fulham midfield. He won 7 tackles, made 3 clearances and 6 interceptions, in addition to providing the assist for Dembele’s clincher.
